Paid, on time, to your bank

The owner pays before you cast off. Your advance and the expenses go out when the pre-departure report is countersigned, the rest at arrival, via your own Stripe account.

The commission is the owner's

Your fee is your fee. Skippr.it's commission is charged to the owner on top of it, never deducted from you.

A logbook that adds up

Every delivered leg is logged with its distance, dates and vessel, countersigned by the owner, and exports to CSV for your next ticket or employer.

Your captain page

Handle, level, home port, completed deliveries and published reviews, never your real name. The page owners read before they accept your bid.

Blind bids, judged on qualification first

Bids are ranked by qualification before price, so the cheapest bid does not win by default. Owners cannot see the other bids.

Return legs and founding terms

When you arrive, open deliveries starting nearby are sent to you. Founding skippers pay no commission floor above EUR 49 and have fee-free first jobs.

How it works

  1. 1Create your profile with a handle, your level and home port, and upload your licence and insurance.
  2. 2Set up payouts with Stripe once; your bank and identity details never pass through Skippr.it.
  3. 3Bid on open deliveries: fee, advance, expenses estimate and your plan for the declared issues.
  4. 4Get awarded, see the owner's contacts once they have paid, agree the handover.
  5. 5File the pre-departure report, sail, file the arrival report, get paid.
  6. 6Your logbook grows, your reviews publish, your captain page does the selling.
