Escrow with milestone release

One card payment covers the skipper fee, the expenses advance and the commission. The advance is released at departure, the rest at arrival, both against countersigned reports.

Verified professionals

Licences, insurance and, where switched on, identity are verified before a skipper can bid. Each has a public captain page with their delivery history and reviews.

Itemised blind bids

Fee, advance, expenses estimate and a plan for the known issues you declared, ranked by qualification first and price second. Skippers do not see each other's bids.

Condition reports with photos

Pre-departure and arrival reports with engine hours, fuel, rig, steering, bilge, safety gear and photos, countersigned by both parties. Your evidence if anything is ever disputed.

Compliance per route

Customs, flag and permit notices for every country the leg touches, a ship's papers vault that works offline, and the Authority to Sail that port authorities ask for.

Fleet terms and proper receipts

Partner codes give charter fleets a rate of their own with no match fee. Every delivery is receipted by Cnvert Sweden AB with the VAT treatment that applies to you.

How it works

  1. 1Post the delivery with the vessel's equipment inventory and any known issues, such as a survey's findings.
  2. 2Receive blind bids from verified skippers, each with a repairs plan for the issues you declared.
  3. 3Accept a bid and pay once; contacts unlock and the handover is agreed in the messages.
  4. 4The skipper files the pre-departure report; you countersign; the advance is released.
  5. 5The skipper files the arrival report; you countersign; the rest is released. 72 hours without objection releases it as well.
  6. 6Disputes freeze the money; Skippr.it staff arbitrate on the reports, photos and messages.
